We are pleased to announce that our CEO, Franz Wagner, recently received a certificate from Mr. Hans Mayer, head of corporate promotion at the IHK. The certificate honors the 30-year anniversary of the company WMS Wagner and recognizes the hard work and dedication of our team.
On this happy occasion, we would like to look back on our company history. The company was founded in 1930 by Franz Xaver Wagner, the father of the managing director. At that time, the company focused on agricultural technology. In 1990, Franz Wagner began importing and trading axle measurement systems. Since 2002, we have been manufacturing axle measurement devices for cars, trucks, and tractors in our own production facility. To expand our production portfolio, we have built additional buildings in Oberschneiding and moved there in 2021, including production and headquarters.
Today, our production is characterized by a particularly high level of manufacturing depth. The assemblies for our devices are largely manufactured on company-owned CNC machines in Germany. This allows us to pursue our goal of offering the best possible quality at a fair price. In addition, this independence allows us to respond quickly and flexibly to the needs of our customers.
We are proud of our 30-year anniversary and thank our customers and partners for their loyalty and trust. We are confident that our story full of innovation and steadfastness will continue in the future.
