WMS Wagner recently appeared in the Oberschneiding municipality's new image video. On this occasion we would like to look back on our decision to choose the location. Three years ago, WMS Wagner had to expand with another plant and thus look for a new location. There were various communities near our first factory to choose from, but the young industrial area in Oberschneiding quickly emerged as the right choice. Due to its location right next to the B20, WMS is well integrated in terms of infrastructure. Straubing is only a quarter of an hour away via the federal highway and Munich, Regensburg and Passau can also be reached quickly thanks to the motorway connections to the A92 and A3. This means we can supply our customers quickly and reliably. The out-of-town location of the industrial area also has the advantage that the infrastructure of Oberschneiding and surrounding towns is not burdened by our suppliers. We also found in Oberschneiding a future-oriented community that is open to settlement. With the university support association ef.eu, the Bavarian Innovation and Transformation Center BITZ and the collaboration with the TH Deggendorf, an innovation-promoting environment was created, which connects Oberschneiding all the way to San Francisco in Silicon Valley and integrates it into the global economy. For these reasons, we are happy to have found Oberschneiding as the location for our second plant.
